Dismantling and removing a tall Cypress species of conifer in Sheffield
1. A large and old conifer had outgrown it's position in the garden and required removing.
2. Due to it's proximity to the road and nearby telephone wires, a precise dismantle was needed.
3. Conifer stem with just a pole standing ready to be chogged down to the ground.
4. The final result with all timber and green waste removed, garden left tidy and the stump cut down to ground level.

Repairing the split stem of an Amelanchier on Dore, Sheffield
An Amelanchiar tree which had developed a severe split in the stem needed some repair work to keep it from collapsing.
A hole is drilled and steel bolt insterted along with light cabling in the crown above.
The finished project, with the steel bolt cut to size and nut tightened, the split has now been closed allowing the tree a chance to recover.
